Arts Advocacy

Kristina’s performance-based career runs in tandem with her active commitment to Arts Advocacy and Education in the media and entertainment industry. A graduate with Distinction from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (BBus: International Business), Kristina champions social consciousness, professional and personal development and societal observations in all aspects of her career. 

Since 2009, Kristina has hosted the international music festival Clockenflap (Hong Kong), founded Indie VanCity (a grassroots collective in Vancouver championing emerging artists), mentored songwriters for Live Acts Canada, acted as an International judge for the VIMA Awards and industry panelist for Creative BC, facilitated artist-entrepreneur workshops, mentor sessions and public events for Nimbus School of Recording & Media and Full Circle First Nations, and moderated a career pathway panel with one of the world’s largest electronic music labels, Monstercat. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for Music BC a not-for profit organisation that supports and empowers music industry professionals in British Columbia. 

In the last five years, her focus has shifted from events and business development to career pathway visibility, mentorship and empowerment of creatives in Music and Entertainment.
